4th edition of World Food India 2025

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, is set to host the 4th edition of World Food India (WFI) — an international mega food event — from 25th to 28th September 2025 at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

To build momentum for the event, a Curtain Raiser was held at The Lalit, New Delhi, where Union Minister Shri Chirag Paswan launched the official brochure, event website, mobile app, and a promotional video that reflects India’s growing achievements in the agri-food processing sector.

WFI is not merely a trade fair, but a transformational initiative focused on advancing sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready food systems.

He also announced that the 2025 edition is set to be the largest yet, expecting participation from over 90 countries, 2,000+ exhibitors, and tens of thousands of stakeholders across the entire food value chain — from farm to fork.

Strategic Importance of the Event

World Food India 2025 serves as a strategic gateway to India’s rapidly evolving food economy, facilitating meaningful partnerships between Indian and global stakeholders. It brings together a wide range of participants — including food manufacturers, producers, processors, investors, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, logistics and cold chain operators, and even startups and food retailers.

Such convergence helps build a dynamic ecosystem focused on innovation, technology adoption, and global collaboration in the food processing sector. These goals are fully aligned with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) mission and its Vision 2047 development roadmap.

Key Highlights & Features of WFI 2025

The 4th edition will feature a range of dynamic segments and activities:
