The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and adjoining areas has issued a new set of directions aimed at fast-tracking the transition to cleaner mobility in Delhi-NCR. The CAQM has directed motor vehicle aggregators, delivery service providers and e-commerce entities of Delhi-NCR to induct CNG, Electric 3-Wheeler Auto Rickshaws in the existing fleet of aggregators. Vehicles running on conventional Internal Combustion engines, including 4-Wheeler Light Commercial Vehicles and 2-Wheelers, will not be further inducted from 1st January of the next year in their existing fleet.
