The CBSE is revamping its Legal Studies syllabus for Classes XI and XII to reflect India’s major legal changes, including the repeal of triple talaq, abolition of Section 377, removal of sedition laws, and the inclusion of the new criminal laws — BNS, BNSS, and BSA. The revised textbooks, aligned with NEP 2020, aim to modernize legal education and promote real-world legal awareness among students.
