Supreme Court Relaxes Judicial Service Eligibility Rule: 1-Year Practice Required Instead of 3 Years
The Supreme Court has modified its 2025 judgment on judicial service recruitment by reducing the mandatory legal practice requirement from three years to one year. Fresh law graduates can apply without prior practice until March 31, 2027, but selected candidates must complete one year of judicial training and one year of supervised clerkship before regular appointment.
